Jimani Job Shop Services Kickstarts EDC Ink Campaign

A while back we shared with you a Kickstarter campaign one of our Jimani laser job shop clients launched.

This campaign has been so successful that Blank Forces launched some new laser marked pen designs.

Blank Forces is using Jimani job shop services to laser mark ultra-compact pens designed to go on a keychain. These pens can either be "naked" or laser marked with some pretty amazing designs.

Blank Forces today launched their crowd funding Kickstarter campaign for EDC Ink™, a series of ultra-compact, precision-machined pens designed to go on your keychain and always be with you. Made from rugged stainless steel and brass, they are offered in a stunning range of functional and decorative laser engraved options.

“It’s a go-everywhere, functional accessory for those who love design, art, and quality,” says Kevin Hayes, the designer and founder of Blank Forces. “I originally made these pens for myself so I could always be ready to sketch an idea, and after a lot of interest from others I decided to offer them to everyone who might want one.”

You can help choose the designs. “I’m really excited to be working with some incredibly talented artists and to offer an even wider range of laser engraved designs by the end of the Kickstarter campaign. So connect with us to vote for the final designs,” says Kevin Hayes.

A great gift idea — with an estimated delivery date of February 2015, the pens won’t be ready for holiday delivery. But that’s not a problem since they are providing the option for the recipient to receive a holiday gift card showing exactly what the pens look like.

The cleverly named pens reference E.D.C., the acronym for Every Day Carry and a popular topic regarding the need to always be prepared. About Blank Forces — Founded by award winning designer Kevin Hayes, Blank Forces sets out to create beautifully functional artifacts needed for everyday life.
