Laser Marking Wood

When creating a permanent traceability mark, identifying mark, or decorative mark on wood products a CO2 laser is ideal. CO2 laser marking wood creates repeatable, crisp, clear marks.

The Langolier CO2 Laser Marker is  a compact unit, ideal for harsh environments and manufacturing facilities. This laser marking solution is an ideal replacement for high costs ink jet, labeling, and dot peen marking options. With a long service life laser and no consumables, the Langolier CO2 Laser Marker is a cost effective solutions.

Here you can find a CO2 laser marked consumer wood piece. This piece was specifically marked with a 50 watt Langolier CO2 laser system, using a 12 inch field lens. In this example, the engraving on the wood piece is approximately 1/8 inch deep.

In this example, however, the laser marking is a surface engraving. Both examples demonstrate the ability of the CO2 Laser Marker to create clear, crisp graphics and logos.

The Langolier CO2 laser marker is designed to be compatible with the standard Jimani work stations. Custom integration both into you production environment and into a custom enclosure are also available.
